Pronouns

The Pronouns

Pronouns in Multilingua are characterized by their simplicity. Their formation always considers the original language as the basis.

Following the general construction rule of Multilingua, we can also form pronouns such as:

mie/de ie/ie-de

It is important to note that for the third person, it is not necessary (though recommended) to include the pronoun. If no pronoun is used, it defaults to the third person.

Relative and interrogative Pronouns

There are several ways to differentiate between interrogative and relative pronouns. The most recommended approach is to include the marker “do” after the interrogative pronoun. As mentioned earlier, another possible method is to use the stressing and differentiating feature of capital letters in Multilingua. Hence, writing the last letter of interrogative pronouns in uppercase is possible. Alternatively, though not recommended, writing the interrogative pronoun without any additional marks is acceptable, using the same form as the relative pronoun and relying on context to differentiate them.
